.223 as a medium game round

Well after reading the game and fish regulations for this upcoming Speed Goat season, I found out that I can use a .223 caliber round that weighs at least 60 grains. My mouth dropped as I realized that my tactical rifle can come out and play! Since my rifle would be my primary weapon in any long standing event, I think it would be a hoot to try it out on a medium sized game animal and see how well it does. I need to go out and look for some .223 hunting rounds and will report back in when I find the one I am going to use!!
